DURACOUSTIC

Duracoustic is a low cost flooring underlayment that provides good performance with both impact and airborne noise reduction. Use this on your studio floor and simply cover with finished flooring. Duracoustic can also be used on floor above your studio to help stop unwanted noise from transmitting through ceiling.

This product will also decouple walls and ceilings. Installation is simple, roll out product and cover entire floor surfaces area.

Installation tip: This product can be applied with adhesive model # DAA5, standard subfloor adhesive or can float under finished flooring.

MATERIAL: Open cellular rubber bonded to fiberglass/cellulose backing scrim.
PATTERN: Flat Textured
FEATURES: Conceals floor irregularities. Resists mold, mildew and fungus growth. Designed for high traffic, long lasting floor impact noise control.

Acoustik is our most popular flooring underlayment for recording studios. This high performing flooring underlay installs in 4' x 25' rolls with adhesive or can be floated. This heavy product should be installed before walls are built when ever possible to help decouple walls and ceilings.
